Dr. Beth Moore, MD, FACS, FASCRS, has been in practice as a colorectal and general surgeon for nearly two decades. She earned her medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine, completed a general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center went on to receive specialty training in colorectal surgery at the St. Louis University School of Medicine. Her unique double board certification in both general and colorectal surgery, combined with her extensive experience, unique qualifies her as among the top colorectal surgeons in Los Angeles and Southern California.

Dr. Moore specializes in research to optimize outcomes in the treatment of benign anorectal conditions, fecal incontinence and colorectal cancer. As a cutting-edge practitioner with a drive to advance the quality of care available to patients, she is actively involved in promoting robotics throughout the field of colorectal surgery.

What distinguishes Dr. Moore is her commitment to constantly seeking out and challenging the very best that modern day medical technology has to offer. She prides herself on providing her patients with state-of-the-art treatment methods, while ensuring that she always evaluates new ideas and technology to see how they will actually benefit her patients. Dr. Moore sat as the Chief of the Colon and Rectal Surgery Division at Cedars-Sinai from 2001-2005. She founded and sat for 8 years as director of the Colon and Rectal Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai. She also served as the President of the Southern California Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery from 2011-2014.

Dr. Moore's compassion for other people has taken her to Guatemala for medical missions to perform surgery on needy and underprivileged residents. She has a passion for teaching and travel, which she does with her two children.
